About Me

Firstly thank you for visiting my blog and joining me on my journey.

Hi, I’m Steve a 30 year old performance engineer working in the aviation industry from the UK. I live in Warwickshire with my two Cavapoo’s (Molly and Lottie).

I’m not a natural swimmer or runner but some how I found my way to triathlon and after a few years at the Ironman 70.3 distance! Cycling is my strongest and favourite discipline followed by running and my least favourite (slowest) swimming. I have to work really hard at swimming but that’s part of the fun I guess haha.

I suffer with anxiety/depression and with that I take medication to help (I’m not ashamed to say). I am a mental health champion for my employer and that has broadened my understanding or what makes people tick and also to help where I can. Please reach out if you need help! Never suffer in silence.

My aim is to share my journey from racing to all the technology that I love to everything to do with triathlon. Be that training, equipment, advice, racing, nutrition and everything in between.

Hope you enjoy the ride…..
